(14/07/1979) A settlement on a slight east slope and partly under bracken with six Type 2 huts (Type site SX 56 NE 71); two are free standing, the others are within three enclosures. The huts are in fairly good condition with the exception of that cut by a modern wall. The two northern enclosures measuring 20.0m by 15.0m and 35.0m by 45.0m have simple and low walling demarcating the area of clearance. The large enclosure to the south east 80.0m by 40.0m has four different types of construction, from weak to relatively strong.
Surveyed at 1:2500 on MSD and at 1:1000.
