Name:Orchard banks east of Wiscombe Park, Southleigh

Summary

A series of subtle parallel linear banks are visible as earthworks on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2016 and are interpreted as possible post-medieval to early 19th century orchard tree planting ridges that passed out of use prior to circa 1840. Alternatively they could be 19th century narrow ridge and furrow.
