An earthwork bank forming a right-angle in the corner of a field is visible on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2016 west of Hermitage Wood. The bank does not correspond with any features depicted on historic maps and is interpreted as a possible medieval to post-medieval field boundary forming a small field enclosure that passed out of use prior to circa 1840.
