A series of closely parallel linear earthwork banks are visible on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2016 south of Sand. The banks are orientated approximately north to south on a south facing slope. The plot is recorded as Mow Plot Orchard on the Tithe Map and depicted as an orchard on historic and modern maps up until the mid-20th century. The banks are interpreted as planting ridges for orchard trees of post-medieval to 19th century origin, that passed out of use in the mid-20th century.
