A series of closely parallel linear earthwork banks are visible on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2016. The banks are orientated approximately northeast to southwest on a west facing slope. The plot is recorded as an orchard on the Tithe Map, and depicted as an orchard until the mid-20th century. The banks are interpreted as planting ridges for orchard trees of post-medieval to 19th century origin, that passed out of use in the mid-20th century.
