Bluesky International, 2016, LiDAR DTM data (0.5m resolution) Blackdown Hills and East Devon AONBs: 3 transects, LIDAR SY1393 Bluesky International DTM 04-MAY-2016 (Cartographic). SDV359714.
Two large earthwork depressions are visible.

Two large approximately oval shaped earthwork depressions are visible on images derived from lidar data captured in 2016. The eastern depression is circa 50m by 30m and the western depression is circa 45m by 35m. The depressions do not correspond with any features depicted on historic maps. They are interpreted as post-medieval to 19th century extractive pits.
