An approximately north to south orientated ditch is visible as a subtle earthwork on images derived from lidar data captured in 2016 east of Sidbury Manor. The ditch does not correspond with any features depicted on historic maps, but it is in parallel with adjacent field boundaries depicted on the Tithe Map. It is bisected by a road established in the 19th century, which is probably contemporary with the manor house built in 1879 (MDV16947). The ditch is interpreted as a field boundary of medieval to post-medieval origin, that passed out of use prior to circa 1840.
