Several closely parallel banks are visible as subtle earthworks on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2016. They are interpreted as planting ridges for orchard trees of post-medieval to 19th century origin, and that passed out of use in the mid to late-20th century.

The banks correspond with a plot recorded as Lower Orchard on the Tithe Map (Plot 1693). The plot continues to be depicted as an orchard until the mid to late-20th century. The banks are visible on aerial photographs dating to the 1940s.
The banks are interpreted as planting ridges for orchard trees of post-medieval to early 19th century origin, that passed out of use in the mid to late 20th century.
