A large earthwork depression is visible.

A large earthwork depression is visible on images derived from lidar data captured in 2016 south of Moorsplash Farm. The depression is kidney shaped and circa 70m by 45m. It does not correspond with any features depicted on historic maps and is interpreted as a post-medieval to 19th century extractive pit.
