A series of parallel curvilinear banks are visible as subtle earthworks on images derived from lidar data captured in 2016 east of Lincombe Farm. They are situated within a plot of meadow on the Tithe Survey. The plot slopes both south-east and north-east with the cuvilinear banks orientated approximately north-west to south. A field boundary following the same orientation is recorded (MDV131413). Several marl pits are depicted in the plot on the First Edition OS map and also visible as earthworks which truncate the banks, indicating the banks pre-date the pits (MDV117114 and MDV131412). The banks are interpreted as possible medieval ridge and furrow.
