Part of the earthwork corresponds to a plot of coppice.

A large irregular shaped earthwork depression is visible on images derived from lidar data captured in 2016. The depression partially corresponds with a plot of coppice recorded on the Tithe Map. By the First Edition OS map, further woodland has establised which corresponds approximately with the extent of the earthworks. The earthwork depression is interpreted as extractive work of post-medieval to 19th century origin, part of which may have been of mid to late 19th century origin.
