A series of closely parallel linear banks are visible as earthworks on images derived from lidar data captured in 2016. The banks correspond with a plot recorded as an orchard on the Tithe Map. They correspond with an area of cleared orchard on the First and Second Edition OS map. The rest of the orchard passed out of use by the mid-20th century and does not have clear surviving earthwork evidence of similar banks. The plot is afterward depicted as woodland and scrub.
The banks are interpreted as planting ridges for orchard trees of post-medieval to 19th century origin, that passed out of use by the late-19th century.
