Several parallel curvilinear ditches are visible as earthworks on images derived from lidar data captured in 2016. They are interpreted as field boundaries or possible lynchets of medieval origin, that may have formed part of a strip field system, and that passed out of use prior to circa 1840.

Full description

South West Heritage Trust, 1838-1848, Digitised Tithe Maps and Transcribed Apportionments (Cartographic). SDV359954.

The west part of the southernmost ditch corresponds with a field boundary.

Three parallel earthwork ditches are visible.

Three parallel curvilinear ditches are visible as earthworks on images derived from lidar data captured in 2016. The ditches are orientated approximately north-west to south-east and circa 18m apart down a southeast facing slope south of Pin Hill Farm. The east part of the southernmost ditch corresponds with a field boundary depicted on the Tithe Map. The ditches are interpreted as field boundaries or posible lynchets of medieval origin, that may have formed part of a strip field system, and that passed out of use prior to circa 1840.
