Ordnance Survey, 1880-1899, First Edition Ordnance 25 inch map (Cartographic). SDV336179.

The bank does not correspond with any features depicted on historic maps, but is parallel to a depicted field boundary.

A curvilinear bank with flanking ditches are visible as earthwork.

A curvilinear bank is visible as an earthwork on images derived from lidar data captured in 2016. The bank is circa 6m wide and flanked by two narrow ditches. It does not correspond with any features depicted on historic maps, but is parallel to a field boundary depicted to the north of the First Edition OS map. It spans a depicted field, and possibly extends into a field to the east.
The earthworks are interpreted as a field boundary of medieval to post-medieval origin, that passed out of use prior to circa 1840.
