Bluesky International, 2016, LiDAR DTM data (0.5m resolution) Blackdown Hills and East Devon AONBs: 3 transects, LIDAR SY1895 Bluesky International DTM 24-APR-2016 and 30-APR-2016 (Cartographic). SDV359714.

Two oval shaped earthwork depressions are visible on images derived from lidar data captured in 2016. The earthworks are both situated against the southern boundaries of different neighbouring plots both recorded as 'Stickland'. The northernmost depression is circa 30m by 15m, and the southernmost depression is circa 35m by 25m. They do not correspond with any features depicted on historic maps. A marl pit is recorded circa 80m to the north-east (MDV36555). The depressions are interpreted as extractive pits of post-medieval to 19th century origin.
