The bank approximately aligns with a section of depicted field boundary.

The bank is orientated approximately north to south and partially corresponds with a section of field boundary depicted on both the Tithe Map and the First Edition OS map. The bank is interpreted as a field boundary of probable medieval origin, that passed out of use prior to circa 1840.
