Thorpe, J. + Horton, D., 2012, The Barn at Great Trill, Puddleylake Road, Axminster, Devon, 4-5 (Report - Survey). SDV364548.

The agricultural buildings to the north of the main farmyard include the remains of a two storey thatched cottage. The east wall and internal divisions have been demolished and also the roof. Fireplaces survive in the remaining outer walls. The cottage is shown on the c.1840 Tithe Map and is recorded as such on a plan of 1910.
