The banks aligns with a field boundary depicted to the east and spans a field recorded as 'Fore Door Close' (Plot 665).

An approximately east to west orientated curvilinear bank is visible as an earthwork on images derived from lidar data captured in 2016. It does not correspond with any features depicted on historic maps and spans the width of a plot recorded as 'Fore Door Close' in the Tithe Survey. It aligns with a depicted field boundary to the east, which passed out of use in the mid-20th century. The bank is interpreted as a field boundary of medieval to post-medieval origin, that passed out of use prior to circa 1840.
