Full description

South West Heritage Trust, 1838-1848, Digitised Tithe Maps and Transcribed Apportionments (Cartographic). SDV359954.

The earthworks span the width of a plot recorded as 'Lands' (Plot 390).

A short curvilinear bank and ditch are visible as earthworks.

A short approximately east to west orientated curvilinear bank and ditch are visible as earthworks on images derived from lidar data captured in 2016. They do not correspond with any features depicted on historic maps, but span the width of an elongated plot recorded as 'Lands' on the Tithe Map. The earthworks are interpreted as a field boundary of medieval to post-medieval origin, that passed out of use prior to circa 1840. Alternatively it could be of modern origin.
