This stone is one of 46 marking the edge of the military owned property at Willsworthy.

Butler, J., 1991, Dartmoor Atlas of Antiquities: Volume Two - The North, 224, Map 43, Boundary Stone 'g' (Monograph). SDV219155.

Boundary stone 'g' was erected soon after 1900 when Willsworthy Range was purchased by the War Office for use as a firing range. The squared pillar 'WD 15' lies to the south of Doetor Brook.

(02/07/1998) A military boundary stone situated at SX54108510. The roughly dressed pillar, inscribed 'WD 15', is 0.95 metres high and 0.3 metres square. Surveyed at 1:2500 scale.
