The plot is recorded as 'Watleigh Orchard and Linhay' (Plot 26).

Most of the orchard has passed out of use with orchard trees only depicted within an earthwork to the east (MDV116159).

A series of closely parallel north to south orientated linear banks circa 4m apart are visible as earthworks on images derived from lidar data captured in 2016. The banks correspond with a plot recorded as 'Watleigh Orchard and Linhay' in the Tithe Survey and depicted as an orchard on the First and Second Edition OS maps. They are interpreted as planting ridges for orchard trees of post-medieval to 19th century origin, that passed out of use by the mid-20th century.
