Name:Hut and field boundaries on right bank of the River Tavy

Summary

A hut circle probably of prehistoric origin is built against a large boulder overlooking the right bank of the River Tavy. It measures 3m by 2.7m internally and is constructed of a single line of stones and boulders up to 0.3m high. There is no obvious entrance. Immediately west and south of this feature are traces of an incompletely preserved field system covering an area of approximately 0.2 hectares. The low stoney banks of this system measure around 1.4m wide and 0.3m high.

(23/06/1998) SX 55558355. A hut circle probably of prehistoric origin is built against a large boulder overlooking the right bank of the River Tavy. It measures 3m by 2.7m internally and is constructed of a single line of stones and boulders up to 0.3m high. There is no obvious entrance.
Immediately west and south of this feature are traces of an incompletely preserved field system covering an area of approximately 0.2 hectares. The low stoney banks of this system measure around 1.4m wide and 0.3m high.
