A series of parallel approximately east to west orientated linear banks circa 6m apart are visible as earthworks on images derived from lidar data captured in 2016. They are subtley visible in the west part and have been exaggerated in the centre and east part of the plot. The banks correspond with a plot recorded as 'Orchard Long' in the Tithe Survey and depicted as an orchard subsequently. They are interpreted as planting ridges for orchard trees of post-medieval to 19th century origin, the centre and east extent of which have been impacted by modern orchard cultivation.
