Curvilinear banks, one forming a right angle and another forming a north-west to south-east orientated bank, are visible as earthworks on images derived from lidar data captured in 2016. Either of the banks could correspond with a curving field boundary depicted on the Tithe Map enclosing a recorded Nursery. The boundary has passed out of use by the First Edition OS map and the plot depicted as an orchard. The banks are interpreted as field boundaries of medieval to post-medieval origin, that passed out of use in the 19th century, either prior to circa 1840 or by the end of the century.
