A curvilinear ditch is visible as an earthwork on images derived from lidar data captured in 2016. The ditch curves approximately north-west to south-east and is circa 125m long and circa 20m wide. It does not correspond with any features depicted on historic maps, however a north to south orientated road is depicted close by on the Tithe Map, which had passed out of use by the end of the 19th century. Depending on the accuracy of this depiction, the ditch could be a surviving fragment of road or hollow way of medieval to 19th century origin, or alternatively may be a medieval to post-medieval field boundary that passed out of use prior to circa 1840.
