(14/06/1998) Centred SX 53908429. A cluster of shallow tin pits lie on the N facing slope overlooking the left bank of the Walla Brook. The pits are small with diameters in the range of 2.5m to 4m and a maximum of 0.7m deep, the upcast spoil lies on their downslope margins. The 20 or so pits are very closely grouped and do not seem to be following a lode.
