This stone is one of 46 marking the edge of the military owned property in the Willsworthy area.

Boundary stone 'e' inscribed 'WD20' was erected soon after 1900 when Willsworthy was purchased by the War Office for use as a firing range. The squared pillars are all labelled 'WD' and numbered from '1' to '46'.

(01/07/1998) SX 5547784609. A military boundary stone situated on the Peter Tavy/Lydford parish boundary Ne of Hare Tor. The roughly dressed, flat-topped pillar is inscribed WD 20 on its S face. It measures 1.15m high and 0.3m square. Surveyed at 1:2500 scale
