(02/09/1998) A crude pit and upcast mound may be the remains of a prospecting pit. The amorphous pit is 0.6m deep with, on the downhill side, a curvilinear bank up to 3.0m wide and 0.8m high containing stone and soil. (It is not a spoil heap associated with the excavation of the adjacent cairn (SX 58 SW 54).
