A small triangular shaped earthwork depression circa 45m by 25m is visible in the corner of a field on images derived from lidar data captured in 2016. It does not correspond with any features depicted on historic maps, but is visible as an area of tree cover on aerial photographs dating from the 1940s and the modern period. The depression is interpreted as an extractive pit of post-medieval to early 20th century origin.
