Two perpendicular curvilinear banks circa 8m wide forming a right-angle are visible as earthworks on images derived from lidar data captured in 2016. The north-west to south-east orientated bank is circa 70m long with a break approximately half way along its length. The adjoining bank is circa 65m long and orientated north-east to south-west. The banks appear to correspond approximately with field boundaries depicted on the Tithe Map, and one of the banks corresponds with a defaced or undefined parish boundary depicted on the First Edition OS map. Both banks are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs dating from the 1940s. The banks are interpreted as field boundaries of medieval to post-medieval origin, that passed out of use by the end of the 19th century.
