A small oval shaped earthwork depression circa 20m by 15m is visible on images derived from lidar data captured in 2016. It does not correspond with any features depicted on historic maps, however a trackway depicted on the First Edition OS map appears to deliberately curve to avoid the earthwork. The depression is interpreted as an extractive pit of post-medieval to 19th century origin.
