Curvilinear banks are visible as very subtle earthworks on images derived from lidar data captured in 2016. They appear to form two parallel east to west orientated banks circa 90m in length and 15m wide, circa 15m apart. Above them are two adjoining banks circa 22m wide visible forming a faint right angle. The earthworks do not correspond with any features depicted on historic maps. They are interpreted as possible field boundaries of medieval to post-medieval origin, that passed out of use prior to circa 1840 and may have formed part of a strip field system. Alternatively, the banks, or some of the banks, may be of natural origin.
