A cluster of small circular earthwork pits between 1m and 4m across are visible on images derived from lidar data captured in 2016. The pits are possibly surrounding by earthwork mounds. They are situated within a plot of furze recorded as 'Banks's Hill' on the Tithe Map, and depicted as furze and rough pasture on subsequent maps. The earthworks are possibly visible in undulating scrub on aerial photographs dating to the 1940s. The pits are interpreted as extractive work of post-medieval to early 20th century origin, surrounded by possible spoil heaps.
