Full description
Royal Commission for the Historical Monuments of England, 1993-1998, Dartmoor Royal Forest Project, S. Probert (Report - Survey). SDV346608.
(11/11/1994) SX 61686851 to SX 61566862. The fragmentary remains of a former tinners leat 300m W of Plym Head. Four sections of leat, on average 1.0m wide and 0.3m deep, run SE to NW on the right bank of the River Plym. The start of the leat is unclear but water may have been taken from the Plym at the foot of a small openwork and routed to feed streamworks in a marshy basin where the river turns sharply SW.
