Full description

Royal Commission for the Historical Monuments of England, 1987-1993, Duchy Farms Project Survey Visit, S. Probert (Report - Survey). SDV350839.

(03/11/1992) SX 66847991 to SX 66867945. A dry silted leat channel on a steep west-facing moorland hillside above the right bank of Statts Brook. The channel measures 1.7m wide and 0.6m deep with a bank on its downslope side 1.4m wide and 0.5m high. Starting from Statts Brook, it formerly supplied the domestic needs of Runnage Farm until it was superseded by another leat (SX 67 NE 146) higher up the slope, to the west.
