Visited on 8th February, surveyed and photographed. Stone extraction pits on south side of Butterdon Hill:. Two sub-rectangular pits, 9 metres north to south, 6 metres east to west, 10 metres north to south, 7 metres east to west, up to 1.5 metres deep, with stone working debris.
