Full description
Butler, J., 1991, Dartmoor Atlas of Antiquities: Volume Two - The North, 22-5, Map 24, Figure 24.5 (Monograph). SDV219155.
Site '13' at 'Birch Tor and Vitifer Mines' was the site of Engine shaft at the lower end of the gully which was eventually sunk to 84 fathoms and which was the deepest level at the mine. Now completely filled in.
