Full description
Royal Commission for the Historical Monuments of England, 1987-1993, Duchy Farms Project Survey Visit, S. A. J. Probert (Report - Survey). SDV350839.
(08/01/1992) SX 66928644. A solitary tin pit located on the steep NE-facing slope of Chagford Common. Measuring 3.1m in diameter it is 1.0m deep with a rim of upcast on the E margin.
This feature probably represents an exploratory working associated with the possible hushing operations (SX 68 NE 109) to the S and E.
