Full description
Wells, T. + Newton, L., 2020, Bronze Age Monuments and Iron Age Settlement at Pinn Court Farm, Exeter, 77, 89; Figs 1, 2 (Article in Serial). SDV364781.
Pit 5008, 2.5m east of Pit 5006 (MDV132521) contained a single sherd of abraded and possibly residual Early Neolithic pot. This feature was approximately 0.85m by 0.75m and was 0.3m deep. The pits formed part of a cluster of similar features, the rest of which remain undated. It is possible that the whole group of pits dates to the Early Neolithic period, although it is equally likely that some of the features were associated with the Iron Age settlement in Area 5.
