(September 1977) SX 6618 6347 Part of the pound wall adjacent to the Middle Brook appears to have been rebuilt in historical times to give an irregular roughly rectangular building measuring about 2 metres by 1 metre. There are signs that the roof may have been corbelled but it is now collapsed and its impossible to be sure. It may have been a small tinners' building.

Royal Commission on the Historical Monuments of England, 1985, Aerial Photograph Project (Dartmoor) - Dartmoor Pre-NMP (Cartographic). SDV319854.

Not recorded in project.

'Middle Brook Upper enclosure' has a small chamber 2 metres long hollowed out of the northern wall which was presumably a tinners' cache.

Historic England, 2020, National Heritage List for England, 1004557 (National Heritage List for England). SDV363414.

This northern enclosure survives as a roughly oval enclosure containing up to five stone hut circles and a small tinners' cache built into the northern wall of the enclosure.
