A complex of shallow (0.2m deep) intercutting pits (4020), adjacent to SDV132578 contained 10 sherds of medieval pot. The purpose of these features is uncertain, although they may be associated with small-scale quarrying or agriculture, since there are no indications of domestic occupation or other forms of activity in the immediate area.
