Full description
Rainbird, P., 2020, A Middle Bronze Age Enclosure, Late/Post-Roman Pit and Late Medieval/Post-Medieval Cloth Drying Rack at Station Hill, Chudleigh, 148; Figs 2, 11d (Article in Serial). SDV364790.
Tree throw 619, in the south west of the enclosure, was large and irregular, measuring approximately 4m by 2m but only 0.15m deep with a single fill which contained 12 sherds of Middle Bronze Age pot and five pieces of worked flint. A palaeoenvironmental sample produced two poorly preserved charred grains of barley.
