(15/02/2002) A ruined rectangular building on the south-east slope of Water Hill. Probably associated with King's Oven Mine, a small tin mine of 19th-century date. The building sits on a levelled stance of ground cut away from the hillslope. The walls which were made from granite are ruined to just above foundation level. The internal measurements are 12.3m by 7m and there is a central cross-division. This was probably associated with Kings Oven Mine, a small and poorly recorded tin mine known to have been operating in the 1860s.
