Full description

Meaton, C. + Valentin, J., 2013, Matford Land, Southwest of Exeter, Devon: Results of an Archaeological Trench Evaluation (Report - Evaluation). SDV352711.

A linear feature, ditch F502 was recorded in Trench 5 during in an archaeological trench evaluation on Matford Land to the south-west of Exeter. The ditch was aligned north-east to south-west. It was 700mm by 630mm deep with steep sides and a flat base. Several prehistoric flints were recovered from the upper fill.
