Full description
Meaton, C. + Valentin, J., 2013, Matford Land, Southwest of Exeter, Devon: Results of an Archaeological Trench Evaluation (Report - Evaluation). SDV352711.
A discrete group of three pits (F703, F705 and F707) were recorded at the southern end of Trench 7 during an archaeological trench evaluation on Matford Land to the south-west of Exeter. Worked flint was recovered from Pit F703. The trench was located within 20m of a Scheduled Ancient Monument, a double ditched enclosure, and the features are, therefore, probably related to it.
