Summary

A possible robbed and disturbed cairn sited on the lower eastern slope of the Redwater valley, north of a hut settlement. The stony turf-covered mound which is elliptical has a maximum diameter of 9m and stands to 0.5m high. The centre of the mound has been disturbed and possibly robbed.

The mound is depicted by Butler but described as a hut circle.

(10/07/2001) A possible robbed and disturbed cairn sited on the edge of a tinners' gully on the lower eastern slope of the Redwater valley, north of a hut settlement (SX 68 SE 27). The stony turf-covered mound which is elliptical has a maximum diameter of 9m and stands to 0.5m high. The centre of the mound has been disturbed and possibly robbed.
