Summary

Remains of medieval or later tin works situated to the southeast of East Lodge on the west flank of Houndtor Down. The features were recorded during an archaeological survey in 1995 and comprise four tin pits measuring 5 metres in diameter and has a maximum depth of 1.3 metres.

(06/02/1995) Centred SX 73967871. Four tin pits SE of East Lodge on the gentle W flank of Houndtor Down. The pits measure around 5.0m in diameter and a maximum of 1.3m deep.
