Former longhouse, possibly Medieval, at Old Middlecott. It has been completely gutted and is now used as a cowshed, the hall and shippon being fitted with milking stalls and the inner room being a calf house. Although the roof has been much replaced sufficient of the original trusses remain to show the original form.

SX 716 860 Former longhouse, possibly Medieval, at Old Middlecott. It has been completely gutted and is now used as a cowshed, the hall and shippon being fitted with milking stalls and the inner room being a calf house. Although the roof has been much replaced sufficient of the original trusses remain to show the original form (No other specific source details given in NRHE record, but this appears to be based on Royal Commission /English Heritage survey in 1995).
