University of Southampton, 2018, North Devon Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey Desk-Based Assessment, FID 4377 (Interpretation). SDV361978.
An earthwork bank is marked on the late 19th and early 20th century mapping and visible on lidar captured between 2007 and 2014. The bank is around 220 metres long, 30 metres wide and two metres high. The purpose of the bank is uncertain but there is a sluice marked at the south east end of the bank on the historic mapping.
