A structural survey submitted with a planning application for the conversion of a redundant rural building shows it to be two storey stone-built field barn. The modern timber roof is clad with metal sheet. The floor looks to be of compacted earth. Photos show two doorways with brick dressings on the south-west, field side, of the barn with window slits to the first floor. The only other opening is a first floor loading door also with brick dressings and a timber cill in the east gable end.
